Resource Highlight: Hinduism 2 Go Flashcards
Various initiatives and articles from the Hindu American Foundation have been featured on here many times. One really powerful yet simple material produced by them is the Hinduism 2 Go Flashcard, which provides a handy description of some basic concepts in Hinduism. The site is here and the PDF version is here.
Politics Highlight: Hindu on Campus Update
We covered Hindu on Campus in last week’s issue (link here), and there has been a fairly major update in the saga. The bolded paragraphs in the Rutgers HSC press release note that Hinduphobia will be coded as an official type of discrimination at Rutgers and that Rutgers will make moves to hire a professor in South Asian studies/Hinduism whose scholarship actually reflects a friendliness to Hindu practice.
